Local Rules
1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 18.2)
a) Beyond all walls, hedges or fencing bounding the course.
b) Beyond any line of white stakes bounding the course.
2. LOOSE IMPEDIMENTS (RULE 15.1)
All stones in bunkers are loose impediments.
3. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (RULE 16)
Relief may be taken -
a) From all artificially surfaced roads and paths.
b) From all staked trees and those appropriately marked.
c) Fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained.
4. PENALTY AREAS (RULE 17)
An area from which relief with a one-stroke penalty is allowed if your ball comes to rest there. There are two different types of penalty areas, distinguished by the colour used to mark them.
Yellow penalty areas (marked with yellow lines or yellow (stakes) give you two relief options (Rule 17.1d(1) and (2). Red penalty areas (marked with red lines or red stakes) give you an extra lateral relief option (Rule 17.1d(3)), in addition to the two relief options available for yellow penalty areas.
5. GROUND UNDER REPAIR (RULE 16)
Those areas defined by a continuous white line or notice.
6. ANY OTHER COURSE MANAGEMENT RULES
As indicated on club notice boards.
USE OF GOLF TROLLEY
Golf trolleys are not allowed within 30 yards of any green or tee other than when on a buggy path.
Golfers not abiding by the Club rules will be asked to leave the course.
