COURSE ETIQUETTE

Time expectancy: Lake Course 4 hours / Wales National 5 hours.

Golfers guilty of slow play will be asked to speed up and in some cases may need to pick their ball up and proceed to the next tee in order to reduce the gap on the group ahead. In the most extreme circumstances golfers may be asked to leave the course.

All pitchmarks must please be repaired. During the winter months all buggies must stay on the buggy paths.

Handicap certificates may not be required however it is assumed that all players are competent golfers.

TEE TIME AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Players making reservations of less than three players may be paired with another player or players. Tee time reservations must be cancelled no later than 24 hours prior to day of play. If a reservation is not cancelled by this time full green fees will apply.

To cancel a booking, simply e-mail us at golfclub@valeresort.com with your request. Cancellation requests will be processed in accordance with the Vale Resort’s Cancellation Policy.

COURSE CLOSURE

In the event of bad weather, please phone the golf club and enquire if the course is subject to close. In the event of the course being closed on the day, you are entitled to a full refund of any deposit paid. Please e-mail us your confirmation e-mail and we will refund the relevant amount.

CHANGING A BOOKING

To change the number of players booked please call the Pro Shop on 01443 665899 or e-mail golfclub@valeresort.com with the details of your request.

DRESS CODE

The Vale Resort requires an appropriate standard of dress on the golf course and in the clubhouse.

• Smart casual dress must be worn at all times.

• Shirts must have a collar and sleeves.

• Proper golf shoes must be worn.

• No denim, tracksuits, football/rugby shirts or trainers are permitted on the golf course.

Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests are aware of the dress code.
