Local Rules
1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 18.2)
a) Beyond any wall, fence or hedge bounding the course.
b) Beyond any line of white stakes bounding the course.
2. OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 24)
a) Stones in bunkers are loose impediments (Rule 15).
b) All fixed sprinkler heads and manhole covers are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under Rule 16.1.
In addition, if such an obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows: If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a penalty area and is within two club-lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which:
a) is not nearer the hole,
b) avoids such intervention and,
c) is not in a penalty area or on the putting green.
3. PROTECTION OF YOUNG TREES
Protection of young trees identified by being staked.
If such a tree interferes with a player's stance or the area of intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedure described in Rule 16.1(i).
4. PENALTY AREAS (Rule 17)
Penalty areas are defined by either red stakes or yellow stakes. When a players ball is in a penalty area, including when it is known or virtually certain to be in a penalty area even though not found, the player may take relief using one of the options under Rule 17.1d.
5. PRACTICE
Practice (except as permitted by the rules of golf), is prohibited on the course at any time.
INDEMNITY
All golfers use the facilities of St. Pierre Country Club entirely at their own risk.
All golfers are cautioned to take extra care on the golf course when negotiating foot bridges, uneven ground and bodies of open water.
