Local Rules
1) OUT OF BOUNDS
A ball is out of bounds if it lies:
a) Beyond any hedge or fence defining the boundary of the course.
b) On the practice range to the left of the 1st or 5th hole.
c) Internal out of bounds on the right hand side of the 4th and 6th fairways.
d) On or beyond the bridleway to the left of the 8th hole or beyond the 7th green.
e) Beyond the white stakes or to the right side of the 9th green including the path.
2) PROTECTED TREES
Trees that are staked, tagged or otherwise protected are deemed to be “immovable obstructions” and relief may be taken if interference as defined by the rule occurs.
3) GROUND UNDER REPAIR
Ground under repair and abnormal course conditions are identifiable by white markings or notices. Relief under the rule MUST be taken.
4) LOOSE IMPEDIMENTS
Stones in bunkers are loose impediments and they may be removed (they are a natural object). However, if the ball moves when moving a loose impediment, your ball must be replaced on its original spot and you get a one penalty stroke. Rule 15.1b applies.
PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULES:
Match Play: Loss of hole. Stroke Play: Two strokes.
