Local Rules
1. Out of Bounds (Rule 18-2)
a) Beyond any fence, hedge, white stakes or white lines bounding the course.
b) Over any wall or gate bounding the course. Players must not open any boundary gate in order to play a ball.
c) Beyond the white lines to the left of the 18th hole and on or over the tarmac road beyond the green.
2. Integral Parts of the Course (Rule 16)
The following are integral objects from which free relief is not allowed.
a) All stiles over boundary fences
b) Supporting wires of obstructions outwith the boundaries of the course and out of bounds fences
c) All bridges and pipes crossing water hazards
3. Gravel Paths, Rock Outcrops and Drainage Ditches filled with stones Rule 16.1 Applies
4. Fixed Sprinkler Heads (Rule 16-1)
All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under Rule 16-1. In addition, if such obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between ball and hole, the play may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows:
If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is within two club-lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which a) is not nearer the hole, b) avoids such intervention and c) is not in a hazard or on a putting green.

5. Wrong Putting Green 8th and 11th
The temporary greens on the 8th and 11th holes are considered wrong putting green and Relief must be taken under Rule 13.1F.
6. Suspension of Play (Rule 5.7)
The following signals will be used to suspend and resume play:
• Immediate suspension for imminent danger – 1 prolonged note of siren
• Non-dangerous suspension – 3 consecutive notes of siren
• Resumption of play – 2 consecutive notes of siren
