Local Rules
1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 18)
(a) Beyond the course side of any fence, hedge, wall, or line of white stakes bounding the course.
INTERNAL OUT OF BOUNDS
(a) Beyond the course side of any of the paths surrounding and including the Golf Centre.
(b) To the left of the hedge on the first hole, extending across and behind the 2nd and 4th greens.
(c) To the left of the 3rd hole when playing the 3rd up to a line across from the final white post to the marked white post on the far side of the 5th fairway.
2. PENALTY AREAS – are defined by Red Stakes and/or Red Lines (Rule 17)
DROPPING ZONE
If a ball is in the penalty area adjacent to the 6th or 8th green, including when it is known or
virtually certain that a ball that has not been found came to rest in the penalty area, the player may:
• Take stroke and distance relief under Rule 17.1d(1) adding one penalty stroke
or
• Drop the original ball or another ball in the dropping zone located between the ditch and the
penalty area, adding one penalty stroke. The dropping zone is a relief area under Rule 14.3
3. PROTECTION FROM YOUNG TREES
The young trees identified by being attached to a stake/protective band are NO PLAY zones.
• If a player’s ball lies anywhere on the course other than in a penalty area and it lies on or touches such a tree or such a tree interferes with the player’s stance or area of intended swing, the player must take relief under Rule 16.1f
ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS (INCLUDING IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS) (Rule 16)
• Ground under repair is defined by any area encircled by a white line and/or GUR signs.
• Areas in bunkers where sand has been removed by the movement of water resulting in deep furrows through the sand are ground under repair.
• When bunkers are flooded bunkers become ground under repair.
The following are classed as Abnormal Course Conditions/Immovable Obstructions and relief without penalty is provided in accordance with Rule 16.1:
(a) All paths and roadways and distance markers (where embedded within the fairway) but recognising
that those area of bridges within the bounds of a penalty area are part of the penalty area.
(b) Sleepers in the bunker on the 6th hole
(c) Drainage covers and sprinkler heads.

General Penalty – i.e.
Match Play - Loss of Hole
Stroke Play - Two Strokes
