Local Rules

1. Out of bounds (Rule 18 applies) 

A ball is out of bounds when all of it lies:

  1. Beyond any wall, fence, hedge or concrete edging forming a boundary of the course.
  2. Beyond white posts to the left of the 10th and 11th holes.
  3. Stone walls on the 1st tee, 9th green and 10th tees, the outside edge is the boundary of the course.
  4. On or over any tarmac/paved area surrounding the clubhouse, professional shop and shoe cleaner, between the white lines adjacent to the 1st tee and 10th tee.


2. Penalty Area (Rule 17 applies)

  1. Yellow areas Rule 17.1d apply.
  2. Red areas Rule 17.2d apply.
  3. All bridges are classed as in the Penalty Area.


3. Ground Under Repair (Rule 16 applies)

Play is prohibited from areas marked by any of the following:

  1. GUR signs.
  2. White painted lines or Blue Posts.

Stroke Play – Two Strokes

 


If THUNDERSTORMS are forecast a notice will be displayed on the 1st tee and 10th tees. Players venture onto the course at your own risk. A KLAXON WILL NOT BE SOUNDED. In the event of a thunderstorm, suspend play immediately. If you cannot reach the clubhouse, find a low spot, stay away from trees, fences etc.

DURING COMPETITIONS the klaxon will only be sounded to suspend play.
• Resumption of Play (Rule 5.7c) – 2 short klaxon notes
• Penalty for breach of Rule 5.7c – Disqualification.

 

At the player’s discretion, droppings from geese may be treated either as:

  • A loose impediment that may be removed under Rule 15.1, or
  • Ground under repair from which relief is allowed under Rule 16.1.

If droppings are found on the putting green, the player may remove the droppings from the line of play. If doing so improves the line of play or other conditions affecting the stroke, there is no penalty under Rule 8.1a.



Hole locations are indicated by the colour of the flags: 
White – Back, Yellow – Middle, Red - Front.

All yardage markers are to the middle of the green.
