Local Rules
1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 18.2)
- All external boundary walls and fences.
- All closely mown areas of the practice range as delineated by the white posts are out of bounds.
- 1st hole - on or over the roadway leading to the Greenkeepers' shed as delineated by the white posts on the left.
- 1st, 4th, 8th and 14th holes - to the right of the white marker posts.
- When playing the 9th hole only, a ball coming to rest on or to the right of the 18th fairway and/or beyond the lake is out of bounds. The OOB line is defined by the right edge of the fairway of the 18th hole.
2. All hazards/penalty areas, are marked with red stakes.
3. GUR - areas so marked, all slate slabs, sleepers, gravelled paths and all tractor tyre marks and course construction works are GUR PLAY PROHIBITED.
4. Young trees identified by stakes are no play zones: If a player’s ball lies anywhere on the course other than in a penalty area and it lies on or touches such a tree or such a tree interferes with the player’s stance or area of intended swing, the ball MUST be lifted, without penalty and dropped within one club-length not nearer the hole. Rule 16.1f applies.
5. SPRINKLER HEADS
Sprinklers on the course are immovable obstructions and Rule 16.1 applies.
6. All internal walls are an integral part of the course.

1) Blue Marker Posts 150 Yards to centre of greens.
2) Greens staff and walkers have priority at all times.
